More About Receiving a Tutor

LVSCM provides 2 hours per week of free, confidential and individualized tutoring in either basic literacy or ESOL. Tutor and student pairs make their own schedule and meet at mutually convenient public places in the community, often a local library. A potential student must be over age 16, cannot be enrolled in school and must be able to make a regular commitment to tutoring. Please note that there is generally a waiting list to be matched with an individual tutor.
